| Can we interview the home health aide/s before we start our service? |
|
As a general rule, AngelCare tries to place an aide in the home that will be a good fit. Aide placement is based on job skills and knowledge; experience; personality traits and availability. After the initial assessment visit, an "Assessment for Service" (A4S) meeting is conducted by the administrative staff and an aide is selected to start the case. We recommend that a client and/or family memeber plan on spending some organizational time with the aide, on their first visit to your home. Clear expectations and knowing where the cleaning supplies are make for a high learning curve and more immediate comfort. |
